The simulator consists of the following hardware components:

All input systems except the IOC-Mastercard are connected directly to the simputer, all output systems to the outputer.

There has to be the appropriate software, to make the simulator run:

SLO (SimuLatorOutput - selfwritten software to control the LED-Chips and the EA-LCD)

The "Simputer" is the computer, where the main application - the simulation program -, the datatransfer application and KeyboardStudio (which converts the real switch- and buttonsignals to keyboard commands) are running.
To get the full CPU and graphicspower in the simulation program, data is send over the network to the "Outputer" through FAST.
Here SIOC and SLO are doing the output of the data and control all the LEDs, displays and motors. This way, the simputer can make use of the full performance only for the simulation program.
